Has anyone actually bothered to download the PDF and read it?
You should, its actually quite good.
I wondered if anyone else had tried this sort of Serotonin boost and if it helped....

I have changed the title of this because I don't think it was appropriate for the content.

Yes, I have heard of her, she had a practice here in Arizona and I have one of her books. There was nothing new, nothing we haven't heard before.
She was never on any of my insurance plans. But I am so dedicated to my neuro that I would never leave their practice anyway.

Oh okay Lynelle thanks for that.
I have to say I had not heard of another neuro here going into the seratonin AND hypothalamus like that.
We have al this with FMS and IBS so it made me take interest.
So the food guidelines no good either?

Yes it is a good description of the seratonin theory.
That is why many of the drugs they prescribe for preventatives are seratonin reuptake inhibitors.
I dont think this explains the whole thing however. Many of us dont get any benefit from these drugs. They also seem to cause many other side effects, particularly if you really don't have a seratonin problem to begin with.
Again, due to so many individual differences, there many be more than one underlying problem that ends up causing some very similar symptoms across migrainuers.

I do think serotonin is in there MG. And the hypothalamus is mentioned again and again. I wish someone could sort it out.

It's very well done.
I like the serotonine credit card theory a lot and I will try to visualize my own credit card any time I let stress and anxiety get over me.
It's incredible how the no-no foods correspond to what I have personally found out!
Apart from apples (that are a trigger for me) all the other forbidden foods are those that I identified through the elimination diet that I did 2 years ago.
The trigger foods elimination is a great thing. The problem is to respect the diet....

Really Anto, wow, so her diet ideas work for you already?
Interesting.
If anyone likes what this lady says, I do have her whole book on PDF and may be able to "lend" (legal) it to you.
