NERVES THAT BECOME TENDER
The nerves that become tender in some migraine and tension headache sufferers are the supra-orbital and supra-trochlear (the one nearer the nose) nerves.
This picture is not very good, as they both usually start in the top of the eye socket, and not above the rim of the orbit as shown.
If these nerves are tender to firm pressure along the inside top of the eye socket and just above the rim of the socket, then you have nerve pain, and the medications are less likely to work.
Nerve involvement causes what is called ‘allodynia’. The skin becomes sensitive to touch, and one finds it uncomfortable to brush the hair, touch the skin of the scalp, wear glasses and ear rings, and a number of other unpleasant sensations.
The nerve tenderness disappears once the arterial and/or muscle pain is successfully treated.
Re: Some interesting theories akin to our friend Ali.
There is much on the web site, and it is causing a lot of interest on an English forum.
I dont think they are as familiar perhaps with dear Ali as we are.
BTW before posting any of Shevel's stuff I contacted Ali to see if he wanted
to be represented.
You might be surprised to know that he was quite rude and insulting.
Oh well, at least I did ask...

Is this Ali the scorned, vein stripping, he stole my idea, nobody knows who he is "doctor"?
PLEASE don't invite him here! Although he has seemed to have gained a following on Rhonda's site since most of us have left.

No way Dan. Never, I think he has finally turned a corner.
He wouldnt come here anyway, he now sees me as almost as evil at Teri.

Ali is still popping up on Rondas with the usual rants. But I dont think anyone is paying him any attention. If anything he has gotten even less coherent.
Interesting that Shevel was such a jerk. You would think he would be interested in helping migraine suffers. I guess not, so what does that say? Honestly these guys give doctors a bad name which is sad for those who really do care.

I dont know who Shevel is MG.

All I know is that he is the guy that Ali claims stole his ideas. Ive no opinion on that. Dont know anything about him directly. Just commenting on your report that he was quite rude to your invite. It is certainly possible to decline such an invitation without being insulting.

Ah sorry MG, my bad. It was Ali that was so rude to me. I have not ever spoken to Shevel, but my friend has.
Sorry, my head is all over the place. Should have read it back.
I dont know what to make of Shevel either, but I think Ali has turned a corner...
