Migraine and Accuweather Weather Migraine Impact Forecast
I'm sure you here have discussed this before but I happened to be checking our hourly weather today on Accuweather and guess what they had on there? They were forecasting today being favorable to migraines not forming or of being of shorter duration! I thought that was kind of a trip. Do you see a correlation between your migraines and weather? Here's the link if you want to look at it and then find your own area:

I might, just for fun, start checking the arthritis forecast/weather impact section of this to see if there is a correlation between potential arthritis pain and fibro pain. I know when the barometer drops my aching always goes up but it would be interesting to see.

Hi Gracie,
Yes we had Brent give us a lesson on checking barometric pressure, I will find the post for you.
It would be interesting to follow this through in the way you suggest. Let's do it..

I check the barometer all the time. Some migraines are definitely triggered by Barometric changes lately I haven't been able to figure out what is triggering most of them. I'm just in a bad migraine place for the last couple of months. Almost everyday.
And Fibro..... that reacts to everything. I can tell by how much I am hurting what the weather is like. Cold days are the worst. Warm days are the best and hot days are crappy too.

You can also test to see if you're pressure sensitive by flying, driving over mountains or riding an elevator many stories. Anything that makes your ears plug and then pop (hopefully). Weather air pressure changes are much slower and can be missed. But fast elevation changes will be real profound. If they are a trigger for you you would know it real fast.

Flying always triggers a migraine. Might be why I don't like airplanes. And the first day up in the mountains just sucks. Once I acclimate I'm fine but the first day....
In fact camping up in the mountains was how we found my daughter was getting migraines when she was about 8. Every time we went up into altitude, she would get a migraine. We'd all go hiking and halfway the poor kid would get sick. Unfortunately, it took a few trips to catch the connection. She fine on low ground but not anything over 4000 feet.

Now think about the anatomy of your skull and what would create pain from pressure differences?
Why do bottles hiss when you open them after an elevation change?

uh huh. I guess in a way I'm some better but massive fronts still set me off. Saturday night, all day Sunday and most of Monday. Big storm system rolled through on Sunday...always seems I get hit a bit before and a while after...
