Obesity and migraines
An interesting study showing that the majority of obese patients who got bariatric surgery for weight loss also managed to get rid of their migraines, particularly for those whose migraines started after they were obese. I've no idea why this would be so, but apparently it is. No idea what it means for those of us who have migraines but are not obese either.

Re: Obesity and migraines
It does support my theory that migraines and all its attendant symptoms are actually symptoms of various afflictions, not a main disease itself.

Re: Obesity and migraines
Well, after surgery you have to really clean up your diet so maybe they were eating a lot of the foods that can trigger migraines. We all know how MSG is in all kinds of snack foods, and caffeine too.
Just a thought.
