I'm in migraine hell!

Sorry, this is just going to be a rant!!!!

My head was sooooo good last year. But it's crumbling now. And I don't understand why.

For the first time in my life I've actually been signed off work with migraine/fever. Although, I've still been going in so I'm exhaused and just want to sleep sleep sleep (but having difficulty doing that even). And I want to cry quite a bit for some reason, which just isn't me.

I'm at the point where I don't even want to talk to people.

I just need to get through one more day at work and then it's the weekend.

I wasn't silly enough to think that the migraines had gone forever, but I never expected them to come back with avengeance.

One of the worst things is just enver knowing where you are with this damn thing.

I think (fingers crossed) that I've managed to break the cycle. For now.

I slept LOTS over the weekend and it really helped.

I know how you feel. I've missed two days and two hours this week from migraines and it's Thursday so hopefully I'll make it tomorrow.

I had been doing a little better. I've been keeping going and hadn't missed work for one in a couple months. I can sleep in our conference room during my lunch and that helps. I time my painkillers so it's always working during the day.

But last Saturday, WHAM, I got slammed with a horrible one that nothing is touching. I got a massage, went to the chiropractor, everything that helps, but to no avail. I'm just getting through with painkillers, muscle relaxers and phenergan.

I think I'm losing my mind and crying constantly from the pain. I know I'll get through but it doesn't seem like it now. So I'm glad to read you're on the other side of yours. It's a good reminder for me.

I just wish my head would explode and get it over with!!!

Oh Cathy. The head exploding rings so true.
I woke with a nasty one this morning.
It was global but settled into the right.
But the back of my head and neck hurt so bad.

I have done a little better so far than December and January, but it isnt good.

I hope you get some respite Cathy.

Hang on in there Cathy, hopefully it will break soon like mine did.

I am doing much better. I'm back to my usual low-grade migraine that the painkillers will take care of.

I went back to the chiropractor, then spent all Friday night and Saturday on the couch with my neck muscles hurting. That happens a lot due to the fibromyalgia. But then Sunday was a little better and now I'm out of the horrible overwhelming one and back to the normal ones I'm used to dealing with.

And I really hate throwing up with them.

Thank goodness for my chiropractor. What a life saver.
